Our website policy

This page sets out the terms between you and Western Circle Limited, trading as QuickLoansExpress (“we” or “us”), under which you may use our website www.quickloansexpress.co.uk (our “Site”). This acceptable use policy applies to everyone who uses or visits our Site. By using our Site you accept and agree to follow this policy, which supplements our website terms.

Information about us

QuickLoansExpress is a trading name of Western Circle Limited, which also trades as Cashfloat. We are a limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 7581337. Our registered office and main trading address is Office 8, 2a Highfield Avenue, London NW11 9ET. We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (firm reference number 714479) and registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (registration number Z3305234).

Prohibited uses

You may use our Site only for lawful purposes. You may not use our Site:

  • in any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation;
  • in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect;
  • to send, or arrange the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material (spam);
  • to knowingly transmit any data or material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful program or code designed to harm any software or hardware.

You also agree:

  • not to reproduce, duplicate, copy or resell any part of our Site in breach of our website terms;
  • not to access without authority, interfere with, damage or disrupt any part of our Site, any equipment or network on which our Site is stored, any software used to provide our Site, or any equipment, network or software owned or used by a third party.

Suspension and termination

We will decide, at our discretion, whether your use of our Site breaches this policy. If it does, we may take any action we consider appropriate, including immediately, temporarily or permanently withdrawing your right to use our Site, and removing any material you have posted or uploaded.

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in a similar way. This section explains what our Site stores and why. You can use every page of our Site, including the application form, without accepting optional cookies.

Strictly necessary

  • Your cookie choice (qle-analytics-consent, kept in your browser’s local storage): remembers whether you allowed or rejected analytics, so we do not ask on every page. It stays until you clear your browser data or change your choice.

Measuring visits without cookies

We count visits, where visits come from and how far people get through the application form using our own measurement script. It does not set cookies or store anything on your device, does not store your IP address, and never records the answers you type into the form. Each visit is turned into an anonymous code that changes every day. Our privacy policy explains this in more detail.

Optional analytics (only if you allow them)

If you choose “Allow analytics”, we load Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to understand how the Site is used and improve it. Google Analytics sets these cookies:

  • _ga: distinguishes visitors. Expires after 2 years.
  • _ga_SBWFHQ6RT9: keeps the state of your visit. Expires after 2 years.

We do not use advertising or targeting cookies, and Google’s advertising storage stays switched off.

Changing your choice

You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of any page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not stop you using our Site.

Your security

We take your online security seriously. Every page of our Site, including the application form, is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so the information you enter is encrypted before it is sent over the internet.

To check you are on our genuine Site, make sure the address in your browser starts with https://www.quickloansexpress.co.uk and that your browser shows the connection as secure. If you are unsure whether a message or website really comes from us, call us on 020 3757 1933.

Website terms and conditions

These terms, together with the documents they refer to, set out the terms on which you may use our Site. Please read them carefully before you use the Site. By using our Site, you accept these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use our Site.

Accessing our Site

Access to our Site is permitted on a temporary basis, and we may withdraw or change the service we provide on our Site without notice. We will not be liable if our Site is unavailable at any time or for any period. When using our Site, you must follow our acceptable use policy. You are responsible for making the arrangements you need to access our Site, and for making sure that anyone who uses our Site through your internet connection knows about these terms and follows them.

Intellectual property rights

We own, or are the licensee of, all intellectual property rights in our Site and the material published on it. These works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world, and all such rights are reserved.

You may print one copy, and download extracts, of any page of our Site for your personal reference, and you may draw the attention of others in your organisation to material on our Site. You must not change the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed or downloaded, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video, audio or graphics separately from the text that goes with them. Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of material on our Site must always be acknowledged. You must not use any part of the material on our Site for commercial purposes without a licence from us or our licensors. If you print, copy or download any part of our Site in breach of these terms, your right to use our Site will end immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies you have made.

Reliance on information posted

Material on our Site is general information, not advice on which you should rely. We therefore accept no liability or responsibility for any reliance placed on it by any visitor to our Site, or by anyone told about its contents.

Our Site changes regularly

We aim to update our Site regularly and may change its content at any time. If needed, we may suspend access to our Site or close it indefinitely. Any material on our Site may be out of date at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update it.

Our liability

The material on our Site is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy. To the extent permitted by law, we, other members of our group of companies and third parties connected to us exclude:

  • all conditions, warranties and other terms that might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity;
  • any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any user in connection with our Site, or with the use of, inability to use, or results of using our Site, any websites linked to it and any material posted on it, including liability for loss of income or revenue, loss of business, loss of profits or contracts, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data, loss of goodwill, and wasted management or office time, however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.

This does not affect our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, for fraudulent misrepresentation or misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Information about you and your visit to our Site

We process information about you in line with our privacy policy. By using our Site, you warrant that all data you provide is accurate.

Loans applied for through our Site

Credit agreements formed through our Site are governed by the terms and conditions of your loan agreement. You agree to give us any proof of identity we reasonably request, including proof of your nominated bank current account and its debit card.

Viruses, hacking and other offences

You must not misuse our Site by knowingly introducing viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs or other malicious or technologically harmful material. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our Site, the server on which it is stored, or any server, computer or database connected to it. You must not attack our Site with a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack. Breaching this provision is a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and co-operate with them, including by disclosing your identity, and your right to use our Site will end immediately.

We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, programs, data or other proprietary material because you used our Site or downloaded material from it or from any website linked to it.

Privacy and marketing choices

If you do not want us to contact you by email or SMS about goods and services similar to those you have had or discussed with us, or do not want us to share your details with selected third parties so they can tell you about their goods or services, please email dataprotection@westerncircle.co.uk.

Linking to our Site

You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it. You must not link in a way that suggests any association with, approval of or endorsement by us where none exists, and you must not link from any website you do not own. Our Site must not be framed on any other site. We may withdraw linking permission without notice. If you want to use material on our Site in any other way, please email info@quickloansexpress.co.uk.

Where our Site links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are for your information only. We have no control over those sites or resources and accept no responsibility for them, or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

Jurisdiction and applicable law

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by the law of England and Wales. The English courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you live outside England and Wales (for example in Scotland), we will issue any proceedings in your local court.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms at any time by updating this page. Please check this page from time to time, as changes are binding on you. Some provisions may also be superseded by notices published elsewhere on our Site.

Competition terms and conditions

If you take part in any quiz or competition run on our Site or by our affiliates, these rules apply.

By submitting a photo to a Western Circle Limited competition, you confirm that:

  • you are happy for Western Circle Limited (and its advertising, promotion and other agencies) to use your photograph in its advertising, marketing, publicity or promotional materials, and you grant a worldwide licence to use your photo and the personal details you entered;
  • you are over 18;
  • you own the photo and are able to grant this licence;
  • you give permission for yourself and anyone else shown in the photo, and they agree to this licence;
  • this permission covers all forms of use, including television, print, online (including Western Circle Limited websites and social channels), newspapers, magazines, digital and social media and all other forms of media now and in the future, anywhere in the world;
  • the licence is irrevocable, royalty-free and unlimited in time;
  • use of the photo will not infringe anyone else’s rights (such as intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality or data protection);
  • the photo is original and not a copy of anyone else’s work;
  • if Western Circle Limited asks, you will sign (and arrange for others in the photo to sign) any documents confirming the above;
  • you will indemnify Western Circle Limited against all losses and third-party claims resulting from your breach of these terms;
  • the details you have submitted are true.

By entering your photo for a chance to win a money prize, you also agree that:

  • finalists, and later the winner, will be notified by email, so you must give a valid email address and be contactable on it;
  • Western Circle Ltd is not responsible for entries that are lost, not received or cannot be sent because of technical issues or for any other reason, and proof of sending is not proof of receipt;
  • entries may appear in public marketing, so they must not contain anything defamatory, obscene, offensive, discriminatory, illegal, hateful, inflammatory, threatening or abusive, invade anyone’s privacy, or be likely to cause annoyance, anxiety, harassment, upset, embarrassment or alarm. Western Circle Ltd may refuse any entry at its absolute discretion;
  • Western Circle Ltd may change these terms or withdraw the competition at any time, its decision on all matters is final, and no correspondence will be entered into;
  • Western Circle Ltd accepts no responsibility or liability for the consequences of entering.

These competition terms are governed by English law.
